Structural and Design Features

• Materials: Typically made of high-strength alloy steel, such as 17-4ph, 15-5ph, 13-8Mo ph, DIN 1.4980, etc., after quenching and tempering, possessing extremely high tensile strength and fatigue strength.

• Preload: Precise preload must be applied during assembly (via a hydraulic tensioner or heating method). This preload must be greater than the separation force that the rotor components may generate during operation to ensure that the mating surfaces are always tightly pressed together.

• Fitting Methods: 1,Interference Fit;  2,Clearance Fit.

• Common Forms: 1,Center Tie Bolt;  2,Circumferentially Distributed Tie Bolts.

Mainly used in multi-stage centrifugal rotors, such as:
